All LEGO sets releasing in April 2026
Everything from LEGO Star Wars to the Return of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme (sort of), April is shaping up to be an incredible month for LEGO fans!:
LEGO Star Wars
This month features the introduction of a new LEGO Star Wars sub-theme: character busts! Possibly replacing the beloved Star Wars helmet line, character busts are being introduced for both Yoda and Darth Vader. What makes these interesting is that they include a minifigure of the depicted character, and are surprisingly more affordable than the helmets. I look forward to seeing where this line goes, as it isn’t limited to only characters that wear helmets!
Also releasing are several sets from the upcoming Mandalorian and Grogu Movie! Perhaps the most intriguing is a play scale version of the Razorcrest!

LEGO Super Mario
LEGO continues the tradition of making incredibly detailed and fun Super Mario sets for adults with the introduction of Luigi & Mach 8! Releasing on April 1st, this companion to last years Mario & Standard Kart introduces some incredible new LEGO elements, and appears to maintain an awesome level of detail

LEGO BrickHeadz
April marks the exciting return of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme! But only in Brickheadz form. Does this set signal a more expansive future theme? I sure hope so!

Coming to LEGO stores exclusively are two brand new sets on the smaller size. The Gift Box Celebration and the Germany Post card sets have great potential for gift giving!

LEGO Icons & Ideas
The LEGO Icons themes continues it’s inventive and fun aviation line with the Douglas DC-3 PAN AM Airliner. This set includes several minifigures and a detailed interior, which is a first for the sub theme. Initial reviews are looking good, so I may just have to check this one out!
Also blasting off this April, is the exsquisitly shaped LEGO Ideas set: Tintin Moon Rocket! Featuring some incredible curves and building techniques, this set is a perfect homage to the series and it’s fandom!
